The Project and the Challenge
The Snooker Association of North Macedonia (SASM) needed promotional posters for nine tournaments held throughout the year. The challenge was to make nine separate events feel connected, while keeping each poster easy to update and immediately recognizable.
I volunteered to create a visual template that could connect them into a single recognizable series. The collaboration began on my own initiative: out of respect for the association’s president and my genuine love for snooker, I offered to create the posters voluntarily. He accepted the proposal, and the idea developed into a series.
One Template for Nine Tournaments
Since all nine events were part of the same program, I developed a shared visual identity based on a fixed template for the background, typography, information hierarchy, and logo placement.
For each tournament, I adapted the title, category, date, and details while keeping the overall structure consistent. This gave the annual program a more professional presence and helped audiences connect each event to SASM immediately.
This template reduced the preparation time for each new poster while preserving the identity of the full tournament series.

Designing for Clarity
The background is based on my own photograph of a snooker table. Its green surface, close perspective, and directional lines create an immediate connection to the sport while providing enough structure and contrast for the event information.
I created the design in Canva, using platform elements such as the flag and icons, while the association provided the organizer, partner, and sponsor logos. Bold typography, yellow accents, simple icons, and structured logo placement keep each poster clear and easy to scan.
The tournament title receives the strongest emphasis, followed by the date and location. The logos are grouped at the bottom so they remain visible without competing with the main information.
Designed primarily for digital use and social media, this hierarchy allows viewers to understand the event, time, and place within a few seconds.
The Value of a Design Template
This project is personally meaningful to me because it combines design, volunteer work, and my appreciation for snooker. One reusable template supported nine tournaments, shortened the preparation of each new poster, and gave SASM a consistent identity throughout the year.
